Black Wrx Winter Detail

SV knew this black subaru impreza wrx was going to be quite a challenge but we were very shocked once it was under our lights as to how bad it was! with a mass of deep scratches, fine scratches, scuffs and swirls all rolled into one also the paint was very dry once the cups of tea were finished. We set to work we soaked the wheels and inner arches with tfr and apc let that dwell for a few minutes then covered whole car with its first coat of snow foam and let that dwell for 10 minutes cleaned wheels and inner arches with brushes then rinsed whole car and added a second coat of foam with a little shampoo mixed in and handwashed entire car car was rinsed and ready for clay.

Once the claying was finished we moved the car inside to get it under our lights and see what we had to correct.

Here are some before shots

As you can see it was very bad alot worse than we imagined we masked off a test patch on the bonnet and went at it with our heaviest compound then followed with a medium to remove the marks left behind by the first stage we were happy with the results so proceded with the rest of the car.

Once all corrected we glazed the paint then sealed it with two coats of sealant!
Dressed all rubber and trim.
Cleaned glass then applied water beading coating.
Inner arches dressed.
Exhaust cleaned.
All door shuts cleaned and wax applied.
Wax applied to wheels.
